I saw this beer coaster recently. Is it wrong that my mind immediately went to Runequest Tuskers and their riders?

First Brew
Received a home brewing kit for Christmas and popped the first bottle today. The beer is the Irish Red Ale kit from Northern Brewers in St Paul, so everything came premeasured, which is fine with me as I learn the steps of brewing.
End result, not bad. Dark colored, medium body. Tastes like beer, slight note of bitters in the aftertaste. 4.5-5% ABV.

Friday - Oh Beer Thirty coming up
Flying Dog Barrel Aged Gonzo Imperial Porter

Went to North Dakota last weekend to return the former Marine his laundry, see his new place and the campus and had a close encounter of the beer kind. Dark, rich and just a bit chocolaty, an excellent accompaniment to a burger and fries it will stand up well to smoked meats. But probably be over powering for most chicken and fish.
Flying Dog Brewery is out of Frederick MD, this is one of their limited distribution beers which made it out to Grand Forks, ND. Kind of blows your mind when you think about the logistics involved.

Beer Review - 3rd Street Maple Stout
Went to the gym tonight, then proceeded to blow the workout by getting a burger and beer. 3rd Street Maple Stout, 3rd Street Brewing, Cold Spring MN. Nice roasted malt flavor with a definite maple finish. It lives up to it's name, I'm glad I tried it and I'll look for others by this brewer. But I won't buy a six pack. The maple flavor got to be a little too much by the end.
