Just filled out my BackerKit questionnaire and downloaded the first PDFs - Player Handouts, GM Screen and the RuneQuest Classic rules book. It's a true delight, a spot check against the errata in my old RQ2 dead tree version shows that the errata has been inserted in the proper places, it includes changes such as moving Sapienza Mk 4A character sheet from the back of the book t right after the Mk4 and a new feature of rule discussions from Wyrms Footnotes and Rambling Rune Questions providing background and rule variants. The Luise Perrin frontspiece is now in gorgeous full color instead of my old red line. Looking forward to the hardcopy leatherette book as well as a treasure trove of PDFs including TrollPak and the soloquests!
Hmm, think the packing slip will have a note from Treasure Trove Hurbi?
Thanks +Rick Meints

Domains at War Kickstarter Update II - It's (almost) shipping
In the email today. D@W has completed converting the print layouts to PDFs, including the counter sheets and will be emailing the PDFs to the PDF reward level backers. The PDFs are available for backers to download now. No firm date on the dead tree editions, but they hope/expect/promise/sacrifice small animals that D@W will be on sale at Kickstarter at Gencon this summer.
If I have time I'll grab the online PDFs and post a review over the weekend.
Also in the email bag WoTC announced via rpgDriveThru, the rerelease of 2e module Ravenloft:Masque of the Red Death, Forbidden Lore and Planescape: Something Wild. I'll defer to Stelios over at d20DarkAges for reviews on anything 2e.

Domains at War Kickstarter Update
Received an email update from Autarch saying they're getting closer and the reason for going dark on the project for the last several months. While the finished materials are accumulating in a warehouse, they still don't have a ship date, as not everything is ready. Email is below the jump.
On the otherhand, I received an email late last week that the soft covers of Joe Bloch's Castle of the Mad Archmage have printed and shipped.
Kickstarter is a way for people passionate about what they're doing to get initial funding to produce professional results. I don't think that you can rely on that model to build a long term customer relationship.
